Liberate Tate

Liberate Tate (2010-present) is an art collective exploring the role of creative intervention in social change. The groups aim to “free art from oil” focused on the Tate ending its corporate sponsorship with BP. This March it was announced that from 2017 Tate would no longer receive funding from BP.
