CTHQ is accessible by elevator. There are no steps for entry into the building or the restroom. There is one ADA accessible, all-gender restroom available onsite, and service animals are welcome. N95 masks are optional and will be provided. The nearest accessible subway station is the B,D,F,M, and 6 lines at Broadway-Lafayette Street.
BAM (Howard Gilman Opera House)
The accessible entrance for the Peter Jay Sharp Building, which includes BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, is located at 112 St Felix Street. This entrance is on St Felix Street between Lafayette Avenue and Hanson Place. Although the entrance is not numbered, it can be found on Google Maps. The nearest accessible station is the B,D,N,Q,R,2,3,4,5 lines at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center.
American Sign Language (ASL) and real-time captioning in English will be provided for all presentations at BAM on September 21. One presentation will be in Spanish and translated consecutively into English.
Pratt Institute
Both Pratt’s School of Design and Pratt’s School of Architecture are wheelchair accessible, equipped with ramps and elevators. The nearest accessible subway station is the C line at Franklin Avenue.
BRIC Arts Media
BRIC Arts Media offers an accessible entrance on Rockwell Place, and there is an all-gender restroom available. The Community Media Center is accessible via elevator, while the Gallery level can be reached using a wheelchair lift. The nearest accessible subway station is the B,D,N,Q,R,2,3,4,5 lines at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center.
Ashland Plaza
Ashland Plaza is located next door to BAM’s Peter Jay Sharp Building. The plaza is ADA accessible, featuring one ramp that connects all levels. ASL interpretation will be provided during the opening. Plaza tables and chairs are available for use; however, there are no public bathrooms onsite. The nearest accessible subway station is the B,D,N,Q,R,2,3,4,5 lines at Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center.
